Our approach to individual and organizational change is guided by a commitment to social responsibility, equity and justice, and the unleashing of human potential. We center the following values in our work:
Authenticity: We are authentic and transparent in our relationships. We offer and receive feedback and observations, engage in courageous conversations, and we encourage our clients to do the same. A robust organization has the bandwidth to dive into challenging moments with the knowledge that they deepen trust, strengthen bonds, and move individuals and groups forward.
Collective wisdom, collaboration, and responsibility: We work in partnership with our clients to build organizational cultures in which each person’s gifts and knowledge are harnessed for the greater good. To that end, we believe that people impacted by change should be central to the effort, which aids in building cultures of mutual accountability and inclusion. We facilitate
conversations and create spaces where all voices are heard, valued,
and empowered.
Compassion: Each of us brings stories of triumph and trauma to our work. Those stories, along with our complex multiple identities, shape how we move through our lives and impact how we work together. We aim to create processes that value our whole selves - centering love, belonging, peace, and justice for all. As we embrace everyone’s full humanity, we express and experience compassion for ourselves and each other.
Learning journey: We acknowledge and honor that each of us is on a learning journey as we work to deepen our understanding of equity and learn how to actualize that within our lives and organizations. No one person has all the answers and we each have our own path toward healing and justice. We bring an awareness that the multiple layers of oppression and power impact individuals and teams in complex interconnected ways. This intersectional approach allows us to share our discoveries with clients in order to co-create just, sustainable, and vibrant organizations.
Nature as teacher and healer: The natural world offers endless wisdom that we look to for guidance. Organizations, like nature, move through cycles. These cycles teach us to be adaptable, flexible, and responsive to the current reality, allowing us to co-create an organic and relevant process. In times of discord and fear, nature offers us lessons in resilience and vulnerability. In times of expansion and forward movement, nature demonstrates how to trust and connect with each other from a place of love, diverse wisdom, and shared vision.
Power of presence: Our work is a creative partnership between us and the client. That partnership is most fruitful when we have full alignment of minds, bodies, and spirits. We integrate a somatic approach in our work, which allows us to connect with the multiple forms of intelligence and power that exists within all of us. As we do so, we are united and transformed.
